Drug Bust on M20 Motorway: Man Charged After Police Find Class A Drugs
Police Snag Suspected Dealers on the M20
Kent Police pulled over a suspicious vehicle on the M20 near Ashford at around 6:30pm on November 15, 2024. During the stop, officers found wraps believed to contain cocaine and heroin along with two mobile phones. The vehicle and driver were swiftly searched, uncovering more cash, blocks of suspected heroin, crack cocaine, and an additional mobile phone.
Suspect Caught and Charged
The driver, Akindele Balogun, 42, from Homefield Rise, Orpington, Greater London, was arrested on the spot. He has been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
Court Bound: Balogun Remanded in Custody
Balogun is currently remanded in custody and is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today, November 18, 2024.
