Six Charged After Brutal Stabbing of Gregory Castillo Volquez in Haringey
Six suspects are now in custody following the fatal stabbing of 36-year-old Gregory Castillo Volquez at a home on Tiverton Road, Haringey, on Monday, 13 January 2025.
Two More Arrests Push Murder Charges to Six
Haringey homicide detectives made two fresh arrests this week, charging Gabriel Francisco Pineda Gonzalez, 20, of High Trees, SW2, and Benito Ramirez Kones, 19, of Fermain Court East, N1, with murder. Gonzalez appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 17 January, while Ramirez Kones faced Willesden Magistrates’ Court on 23 January. Both join four others already charged earlier on 15 January.

All six suspects have been remanded in custody. Their trial is slated to start on 20 October 2025 at the Old Bailey, London’s most famous criminal court.
