Man faces bomb hoax and gun crime charges after Faringdon siege

Massive Police Operation in Faringdon

Armed police and counter-terror units descended on Goodbody Close in Faringdon during a tense eight-hour siege in the early hours of Thursday, 6 March 2025. The massive emergency response included four Hazardous Area Response Team ambulance crews on standby as the suspect reportedly threatened to harm officers.

Suspect Charged with Multiple Serious Offences

Thames Valley Police have charged 23-year-old Tyler Jay Little, from Reynolds Way, Abingdon, with several offences, including:

  • Possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence
  • Communicating a bomb hoax
  • Threats to kill
  • Robbery
  • Theft
  • Breaching police bail

Crimes Spanning Abingdon, Wantage, and Faringdon

The charges stem from a string of incidents: a robbery in Abingdon in July 2024, thefts in Wantage in February 2025, and the dramatic siege in Faringdon last month.

Court Appearance Set for Today
