Shock in Derby’s Markeaton Park as Woman Sexually Assaulted
Timed Attack on Park Bridge
Police are hunting a sexual assailant after a woman was attacked at around 4:15pm on Thursday, 6 March in Markeaton Park, Derby. She was walking along a path from Kedleston Road when a man confronted her crossing a small bridge.
Suspect on the Loose
The suspect is described as:
- Between 20 and 30 years old
- Standing roughly 6ft 3ins tall
- Medium build
- Wearing all-black clothes, a coat with large pockets, grey latex gloves, and sunglasses

Derbyshire Constabulary are urgently calling on anyone who was nearby between 4pm and 5pm and spotted anything suspicious to get in touch. You can report info by:
