Third Suspect Busted in Shocking Hawkinge Home Invasion
A third man has been charged after a violent break-in rocked a quiet street near Folkestone last November, Kent Police have revealed.
Armed Robbery at Corbett Road
The terrifying burglary unfolded between 9.50pm and 10.20pm on Sunday, 3 November 2024, at a home in the Corbett Road area of Hawkinge, close to Folkestone. The terrified occupants reported being threatened as the raiders made off with valuable watches and rare wall clocks.
Suspect Number Three: William Webb Charged
On Thursday, 13 March, Kent Police charged 33-year-old William Webb of Stone Street, Canterbury, with conspiracy to burgle and possession of cannabis. Webb faced Margate Magistrates’ Court the following day and was bailed until his next hearing at Canterbury Crown Court on 14 April.
Ongoing Police Probe
Two other suspects were already charged in November over the same incident and are due in Canterbury Crown Court on Thursday, 27 March. A police spokesperson confirmed:
“Our investigation into this aggravated burglary remains ongoing, and we continue to pursue all lines of enquiry to ensure those responsible are brought to justice.”
