Sakhile Ntsele Arrested in SW8 Weapon Raid
Sakhile Ntsele, from Wandsworth Road, SW8, will face the music at Inner London Crown Court on 28 March. The charges stem from an October 2024 bust where cops uncovered a cache of homemade weapons and explosive materials at his home.
Police Find Homemade Weapons in October Incident
The investigation kicked off on 27 October 2024 when officers responded to reports of a disturbance at Ntsele’s address. On arriving, police found several homemade weapons, leading to Ntsele’s immediate arrest.
Charging Timeline and Serious Allegations
- 29 October 2024: Ntsele initially charged with threatening a person with an offensive weapon and making threats to kill.
- 8 November 2024: Charged with manufacturing a weapon following further inquiries.
- 13 March 2025: Hit with 26 more charges including possession of explosive substances with intent to endanger life, making explosives unlawfully, and multiple counts of firearm possession without certification.

“This is a complex and ongoing investigation led by Specialist Crime officers. The charges brought reflect the serious nature of the materials allegedly discovered, and our commitment to ensuring London remains safe from threats involving illegal weapons and explosives,” said a Metropolitan Police spokesperson.
