Two Romford Men in Court Over Shocking Violent Crimes
Man Jailed for Death Threats in Front of Child
Christopher Keeble, 47, from Lower Bedfords Road, Romford, was sentenced to seven months in prison after threatening to kill a woman during a domestic row on February 16. The chilling threats happened right in front of a child, making the incident even more disturbing.
Keeble also admitted to damaging the victim’s door during the confrontation. At Barkingside Magistrates’ Court, the judge slammed his actions as a “grave breach of personal safety in a domestic environment,” highlighting the serious nature of the offence.
Teen to Face Crown Court Over Violent Assault
In a separate case, 18-year-old Marcus Dobkin of Kingsmead Avenue, Romford, pleaded guilty to wounding with intent following a brutal altercation on February 1. This serious charge, involving deliberate harm, can carry a life sentence.
Dobkin’s case has now been sent to Snaresbrook Crown Court for sentencing, scheduled for June 2025. Details about the victim’s injuries have not yet been released.
Cases Heard in March at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court
Both cases were dealt with between March 13 and March 20 during Barkingside Magistrates’ Court’s regular criminal hearings.
