Predator Sentenced to 19 Years for Raping Two 14-Year-Old Girls in London

Hounslow Man Locked Up for Child Rape

Abdul-Majed Saif, 30, from Great West Road, Hounslow, has been slammed with a 19-year prison sentence at Isleworth Crown Court. The savage sentence follows Saif’s January 31, 2025 conviction for nine counts of raping two 14-year-old girls.

Born November 13, 1994, Saif was also ordered to serve an extra six-and-a-half years on licence after jail, reflecting the grave nature of his crimes.

How Saif Lured His Victims

The nightmare began on April 28, 2024, when Saif targeted the teenagers at London’s Victoria train station. Offering cannabis as bait, he convinced them to come back to his Osterley home, where he subjected them to horrific sexual assaults.

The girls quickly reported the abuse to police, giving crucial details that led to Saif’s arrest on May 2, 2024.

Police Praise Brave Survivors

Detective Constable Stephen Gayfer of the West Area Command Unit said, “I want to thank both survivors in this case for coming forward and helping to get a dangerous predator like Saif off the streets. The abuse he has put these children through is absolutely sickening and is something which will undoubtedly affect them for the rest of their lives.”

Gayfer highlighted the victims’ courage, calling on anyone else affected by Saif to come forward: “You will be supported and you will be listened to.”

Justice Served but Bigger Battle Ahead

Detective Superintendent Rebecca Reeves, Head of Public Protection at West Area, branded Saif “a dangerous predator” and stressed the importance of the long sentence. “They have been incredibly courageous in coming forward,” she said, praising police efforts to tackle child sexual exploitation.

The case sparked outrage online, with social media flooding with comments like, “19 years isn’t enough for what he did to those girls,” and praise for cops locking up this “monster.”

Rising Child Sexual Offences Highlight Urgent Need for Prevention

  • The UK’s Office for National Statistics reports over 107,000 child sexual offences in 2023 – an alarming rise.
  • Grooming often begins in public spaces like Victoria station, where Saif first contacted his victims.
  • Forensic evidence was vital to conviction, boosting success rates by up to 30%, alongside powerful survivor testimony.
  • The Metropolitan Police’s specialized units continue to support victims and crack down on predators.
  • Experts warn that public awareness campaigns are essential but underfunded, with prevention key to reducing grooming risks.

This case underlines the urgent fight to protect vulnerable youngsters from predators lurking in everyday places. Saif’s 19-year jail term sends a clear message: offenders will be hunted, caught, and punished.
