Chatham Stabbing Shocker: Man in 20s Left Injured

Police are hunting for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious stabbing in Chatham left a man in his twenties injured.

Violent Attack on Chatham Hill

Emergency crews rushed to Chatham Hill at around 1:55pm on Sunday, 20 April 2025, responding to reports of a man found wounded. Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service treated the victim’s stab wounds at the scene before rushing him to hospital. He has since been discharged.

Two Arrested After Black Audi A1 Stop in Gravesend

Within hours, police stopped a black Audi A1 in Gravesend believed to be linked to the attack. Two men, both 22, were arrested. Djorn Anderson of Huddersfield faces serious charges including wounding with intent and multiple driving offences such as driving while disqualified, no license, and no insurance.

Anderson appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 22 April and was remanded in custody. He’s due back at Maidstone Crown Court on 19 May. The second man, from London, was released on conditional bail pending further investigation and must report back on 16 July.

Police Beg Dashcam Owners and Witnesses to Come Forward

Detectives urge anyone who witnessed the stabbing or saw the suspicious black Audi A1 near Chatham Hill to get in touch. They are especially keen to speak with drivers with dashcam footage and residents with private CCTV who might have caught the incident on camera.
