Man, 21, in the dock for deadly attack
A 21-year-old has appeared in court charged with murder after a man was found dead in a Longhedge property. Alfie Miller, from Willow Drive, Durrington, was charged with killing 52-year-old Darren Hughes.
Mr Hughes was discovered at a Davies Road address on Friday, 3 May. Miller faced Swindon Magistrates Court yesterday (6 May) and has been remanded in custody.
Next hearing set for Winchester Crown Court
Miller is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court tomorrow (7 May). Police confirm specialist officers are supporting Darren’s devastated family, who have asked for privacy during their heartbreak.
