Brutal Shooting Rocks Coventry Park
Last October, Lennox unleashed a terrifying attack, shooting a man in his 20s straight in the face. The victim suffered serious, life-changing injuries in what police called a targeted shooting.
In a desperate bid to dodge the law, Lennox fled the UK. But his freedom was short-lived. Upon returning, cops arrested him and charged him with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Justice Served at Coventry Crown Court
After a grueling two-week trial at Coventry Crown Court, Lennox was convicted. On May 19, 2025, he was sentenced to a hefty 32 years behind bars.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson slammed the attacker:
“This was a cold-blooded, deliberate act of violence. The victim is lucky to be alive.”
Days after the shooting, officers found a burnt-out car believed to be tied to the crime, strengthening the case against Lennox.
Community Breathes Sigh of Relief but Stays on Edge
The shooting shook the tight-knit Caludon Castle Park community to its core. Residents welcomed the long sentence but voiced ongoing concerns over rising firearm violence in urban areas.
“This sentence should send a strong message that gun crime will not be tolerated in Coventry,” declared a local councillor.
