A vehicle caught fire on the hard shoulder of the M20 motorway between Junction 10 and Junction 11, prompting an emergency response from Kent Fire and Rescue Service, Kent Police, and National Highways traffic officers.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:47pm on Sunday evening and was brought under control by 8:29pm. Fire crews used high-pressure hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.


No Injuries Reported

Despite the dramatic nature of the fire, no injuries have been reported, and all vehicle occupants are understood to be safe.

The cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage, and authorities are conducting further investigations.
