A motorcyclist in his 30s has died following a fatal collision on Stone Street near Stelling Minnis, south of Canterbury, late on Wednesday night (2 July).

The crash occurred shortly before 11:30pm, when a red Honda CBF motorcycle travelling northbound was involved in a collision with a black Ford Fiesta heading south, alongside a black BMW X5.

Emergency services responded to the scene, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the roadside. His next of kin has been informed, police confirmed.

Woman Arrested on Suspicion of Drink Driving

The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a woman in her 20s, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of:

  • Causing death by dangerous driving
  • Drink driving

She remains in police custody as enquiries continue.


Kent Police Appeal for Witnesses

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is appealing for witnesses who may have:

  • Seen the vehicles involved before the crash
  • Witnessed the incident itself
  • Captured dashcam or CCTV footage
