Chaos on the Motorway
The pile-up happened just after 9am on Tuesday, bringing police, fire crews, and paramedics rushing to the scene. An ambulance was escorted away by police as the motorway remains completely closed to traffic.

Drivers face at least an hour of delays westbound between Junction 6 and Junction 4. The crash has blocked the carriageway between Junction 5 and Junction 4, causing congestion to mount.
