Officer Issues Stark Warning on Knife Crime
Constable Paul Kearns said, “This is a great result and thankfully Bennett didn’t use the knife on anyone. Carrying a knife can have fatal consequences and we will not tolerate this happening in our communities.”
He added, “I hope that the prison sentence sends a clear message to anyone considering carrying a knife – if you do, we will do everything possible to remove you from society and ensure you serve time behind bars.”
