Man Pressured Boy into Filming Abuse
Jay Creed, 53, coaxed a boy into making explicit videos of himself on at least 20 occasions, a grim court hearing at Truro Crown Court revealed.
The twisted predator even handed over cryptocurrency to the youngster to get him hooked on games, exploiting his trust.
Multiple Charges and Failed Cover-Up
Creed, from Porthcurno, pleaded guilty to two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He also admitted making indecent images of a child.
The court heard Creed called himself a “sugar daddy” and was grooming other underage victims.
Police had to storm Creed’s home after spotting him trying to smash his computer’s hard drive to hide evidence.
Victim’s Mum Speaks Out
The boy’s mother told the court her son lost all confidence and is now terrified to socialise following the abuse.
She alerted police, leading to Creed’s arrest. Authorities say Creed has a history of child sex offences and has previously served jail time.
Judge Issues Stark Warning
Creed’s barrister admitted he is unlikely to be reformed but that his behaviour could be “managed.”
However, Judge Simon Carr issued a chilling warning that Creed could face the full length of his sentence behind bars.
