London Man Locked Up for Running Class A Drug Line in Norfolk

David Ogoe, 34, from Bury Close, London, was sentenced to six years and seven months behind bars last Thursday (8 February).

‘Buzz’ Drugs Line Busted in Norfolk

Police arrested Ogoe on 27 April 2021 at a property in Westfield, Upton, near Acle. He was caught running the notorious ‘Buzz’ drugs line, smuggling Class A drugs into Norfolk. Astonishingly, he handed control over to a 16-year-old to operate the scheme.

Charged and Sentenced at Norwich Crown Court

After his arrest, Ogoe was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He faced two charges for being involved in the supply of Class A drugs. At Norwich Crown Court, he was hit with a hefty prison sentence and fined a victim surcharge of £190.

Investigating officer DC Rebecca Pitt said: “This result highlights that action will be taken against those who distribute drugs and impact our local communities. If you are affected by this issue, we encourage you to report drug dealing and drug-related anti-social behaviour to Norfolk Police. Your help is crucial in stopping these crimes.”
