A 35-year-old man has been charged after a tense armed robbery at a petrol station in Bapchild.

Kent Police raced to the London Road petrol station around 9.30pm on Sunday, 12 October 2025. Staff had reported a man threatening them with a weapon and demanding cash. The suspect made off with a stash of money, sparking a swift police response.
Rapid Arrest After Daring Heist
Less than an hour later, officers caught Michael Pollock from Blossom Street, Bapchild. He is charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear.
“Michael Pollock, 35, appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 14 October,” confirmed police. He has been remanded in custody ahead of a Crown Court hearing.
