Kent Police have charged a man following a violent attack on Romney Marsh that left two men injured.

Knife Attack at Brenzett Green

The drama unfolded just after 9am on Monday, 17 November 2025, in Brenzett Green. A dispute between a small group of local men, who knew each other, quickly turned nasty.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene. Two men were rushed to the hospital — one treated for stab wounds and discharged, the other remains stable in the hospital.

Five Arrested, One Charged

After a swift investigation, officers arrested five local men linked to the assault. On Wednesday, 19 November, 18-year-old Arry Burgess from Paddock View, Brenzett, was hit with multiple charges, including malicious wounding with intent, possession of a knife in public, and a public order offence.

Burgess was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court the same day.

Ongoing Enquiries

Of the others arrested, one remains in custody while three have been released on bail with conditions as investigations continue.
