Tragedy struck Old Kent Road early Friday morning when a 34-year-old man was fatally hit by a car.
Crash Details
The Met Police were called at 6:55am on 21 November following reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Emergency Response
Officers and London Ambulance paramedics rushed to the scene and treated the man immediately. Despite desperate efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation Underway
Police have arrested the driver on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. The victim’s family has been informed and is receiving specialist support.
