Fletcher Swaps Denial for Guilty Plea Mid-Trial
Fletcher, from Canterbury Close, was arrested and charged with multiple sex offences. His case went to Wolverhampton Crown Court. Shockingly, halfway through his trial, he suddenly pleaded guilty to rape, attempted rape, and two sexual assaults—including one on a child under 13.
Five Years Behind Bars and More to Come
On Wednesday, 12 November, Fletcher was sentenced to five years in prison plus an additional three years on licence. Police lauded the victims’ bravery, saying their courage helped put a dangerous predator behind bars.
