Emergency crews rushed to the scene just after 10:30am after a person was spotted on the railway tracks. Despite their rapid response, paramedics pronounced the individual dead at the scene.

Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. A report is being prepared for the coroner as investigations continue.
