Child Sex Offender Found Dead Two Days Before Trial
David John Grover, 72, from Margate, was found dead at the base of a Cornwall cliff just days before he was due in court facing serious child sex offence charges.

Grover’s body was discovered on November 22 near Mousehole, Cornwall. The discovery triggered a massive emergency response involving police, coastguard cliff rescue, RNLI crews, and ambulance services after reports of a man seen near the cliff path.
Trial Was Set For November 24
Grover was scheduled to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on November 24, accused of indecent assault, sexual assault, and inciting a child into sexual activity. His case was publicly listed but has since been withdrawn after court enquiries.

Death Not Suspicious, Full Inquest Planned
