Mitchell Gent Arrested for Dozen Car Raids
Deal streets were rattled last week as a spree of vehicle break-ins swept through the town. Police arrested 27-year-old Mitchell Gent on Thursday 18 December, charging him with 12 counts of car interference.
The crime wave hit hotspots including Sutherland Road, Bowling Green Lane, Orchard Avenue, Birdwood Avenue, St Augustine’s Road, Manor Road, and London Road between 10 and 17 December 2025.
Police Crack Down, Call for Witnesses
Officers acted quickly to nab Gent, who was hauled before Margate Magistrates’ Court the very next day. But the investigation isn’t over yet. Police urge anyone with info to come forward immediately.
