Emergency services rushed to tackle a fierce fire on New Hall Lane, Preston this morning.
Initial Response to Property Fire
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service first dispatched five fire engines from Preston, Fulwood, Penwortham, and Bamber Bridge at 8:19 am on March 3rd. The fire was initially reported at a domestic property.
Situation Intensifies at Commercial Premises
Shortly after, the fire service confirmed the blaze involved a commercial property. They beefed up the response to seven fire engines fighting the flames.
Road Closures and Safety Warnings Issued
Authorities have imposed road closures around New Hall Lane. Motorists are urged to avoid the area. Firefighters also advise residents to keep windows and doors shut if they spot smoke or smell fumes.
