Surrey Fire and Rescue Service sprang into action at 11:14am after reports of a fire on a conveyor belt at the recycling centre on Charlton Lane, Shepperton.
“We were called today at approximately 11:14am to a conveyor belt fire at Shepperton Community Recycling Centre in Charlton Lane, Shepperton. Seven fire engines are at the scene, including two from London Fire Brigade. We urge everyone to avoid the area while this incident is ongoing. Thank you.”
