Sentence Includes Community Punishment and Sex Offender Registration

At Warrington Magistrates’ Court, Mohammed was handed a 36-week prison sentence, but it was suspended for 18 months. He also faces:

  • 20 days of rehabilitation activities
  • 300 hours of unpaid work
  • Registration on the sex offenders’ list for a decade

  • £200 in compensation to the victim

Despite deeming the crime serious enough to send him behind bars, magistrates chose to suspend the sentence.
