Deadly Blow Outside Village Chippy

A 25-year-old man from Stockbridge Village has been charged with murder following the tragic death of a father in a shocking takeaway brawl. Jahfari Moore, from Marled Hey, was arrested after Carl “Scully” Ennis, 54, suffered a severe head injury outside The Village Chippy on Friday night.

Heroic Staff Tried to Help

Eyewitnesses say chippy staff rushed to Mr Ennis’s aid, handing him his food before emergency services arrived. Despite being taken to the hospital, the dad sadly died from his injuries on Tuesday.

Justice on the Way

Moore was remanded in custody and is set to face Sefton Magistrates’ Court today. The community awaits answers as cops probe what sparked the deadly attack.
