Investigations continue after four stabbed in Camberwell

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding four teenagers being stabbed in Southwark. Police were called at 5.24pm on Thursday, 16 August to reports of a stabbing outside Landor House in Camberwell. Officers attended with London Ambulance Service colleagues. Four males, aged between 15 and 16 years, were found suffering from stab wounds. They were taken by London Ambulance Service to hospitals in south London where one remains critical; one is in a serious but stable condition and the remaining two did not suffer serious injuries. Police arrested six males, also aged between 15 and 16 years, on suspicion of violent disorder and grievous bodily harm. All six remain in custody at this time. A crime scene is in place and officers remain at the scene. Detectives from Southwark investigate supported by the Territorial Support Group and Violent Crime Taskforce who are visible in the area to provide reassurance and ensure that no further incidents occur. A Section 60 has been authorised and will be in force until 9.30am on Friday, 17 August. Anyone who witnessed the incident should call Southwark CID by dialling 101 and quoting reference CAD 5391/16
