M25 Road Closures After Fatal Collision Between Lorry and Pedestrians on Hard Shoulder
Road closures remain in place as police investigate a crash between a lorry and pedestrians “on the hard shoulder”.
Police, along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service, were called to a crash on the M25 clockwise between junctions J29 and J30 this morning (September 8) at around 3:56am.
Police say the crash involved a lorry and pedestrians that were stood on the hard shoulder of the motorway.
Two men were treated at the scene, one of the men died at the scene and another was taken to hospital.
Metropolitan Police have confirmed that road closures currently remain in place whilst they conduct investigations.
According to National Highways, all 4 lanes of the M25 clockwise between junctions J29 and J30 are closed today.
There have been no arrests.
Metropolitan Police are urging any witnesses or those with dash cam footage to contact police on 101 quoting CAD 1299/08SEP.
