Child Rushed to Hospital After Falling Unwell in Erith

A child has been urgently taken to the hospital after falling unwell on Erith High Street near Saltford Close earlier today (September 2). The incident occurred just before 11:25 am, prompting a swift response from the London Ambulance Service.

Emergency services, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer, were dispatched to the scene. The child was treated on-site before being transported to the hospital as a priority. The current condition of the child remains unknown.

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service provided the following statement: “We were called at 11:24 am today (2 September) to reports of a person unwell on Erith High Street, DA8. We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer. We treated a child at the scene before taking them to hospital as a priority.
