What Is a Product Recall?
When a food product poses a risk, it may be withdrawn from shelves or recalled from customers. The FSA issues notices to alert consumers and local authorities about these safety problems.
Sometimes, a ‘Food Alert for Action’ directs local authorities on specific consumer protection steps.
