Emergency Services Called to Old Police Station on Brentford High Street

Emergency services were called to Brentford High Street this evening following reports of three youths on top of a crane at the former Police station on the High Street, Brentford

The incident prompted a swift response from local authorities, with police officers quickly arriving at the scene to manage the situation and ensure the safety of the individuals involved around 6.30pm on Monday 2nd September 20224. A drone was launched to check on those involved said one bystander.

The incident saw the area cordoned off as police worked to bring the situation under control. The youths were spotted atop the crane, leading to concerns for their safety and the potential risk to the public. Fire crews from the London Fire Brigade have also been called in to assist Police

Details about how the youths managed to access the crane remain unclear, and the motivations behind their actions are still being investigated.

A police spokesperson at the scene confirmed that they were dealing with the situation and urged the public to avoid the area to allow emergency services to carry out their work safely.
