Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion Hit with Health Warning as Estate Agents Reveal Risk of ‘Contamination from Waste Tipping’ and ‘Safety’ Risks
Katie Price Hits Back, Refusing Eviction from ‘Mucky Mansion’ Despite Notice

Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion has been hit with a health warning by estate agents selling the TV star’s repossessed house.

The glamour model, 46, was evicted from the property in May amidst her bankruptcy woes, and the pad is now up for sale for £1.5 million. However, estate agents have advised potential buyers to take care when viewing the property, issuing a warning that the land could be contaminated by waste tipping.

Estate Agents’ Warning

Estate agents H.J Burt say in their brochure: “The southern part of the land has been subject to the depositing of waste material and for which an Enforcement Enquiry (ref EN/19/0300) was raised by Horsham District Council in 2019 for unauthorized operational development and engineering operations, plus level changes.

“There is an ‘Investigation Complete’ note on the file status.

An Intrusive Site Investigation report dated 28th July 2024 by Oakshire Environmental following their site visit on 13th July 2024 is available from the Agents, and which results show a low to moderate risk from materials deposited on site.

The brochure asks potential buyers to “be as vigilant as possible when making your inspection for your own personal safety and including around open areas of water and the disused swimming pool.”

Property Description

The advert describes the house as a “substantial detached family home including three reception rooms, nine bedrooms, and four bath/shower rooms spread over three floors plus a one-bedroom annexe.

It continues: “Offering the opportunity for refurbishment to potentially create an impressive family house with mature grounds including potential reinstatement of the tennis court and swimming pool and enhancements of the paddock and land.

Katie’s Eviction and Personal Struggles

Katie’s home was repossessed after she was declared bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill. She has since moved into a £5,000 per month new Tudor-style property.

She purchased the £2 million pad in Horsham, West Sussex, in 2014 but had many problems with the home over the years, including break-ins, structural issues, and reports of “seeing ghosts.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline last month, Katie insisted that it had been her choice to vacate the premises and warned that the mansion is cursed. She described the property as “absolute cursed,” stating that her anxiety worsened with that house.

Incidents and Security Concerns

In May, Katie shared pictures of two men she feared were trying to break into her Mucky Mansion—just days after she was forced to call police over another gang of strangers outside her home. She also revealed how someone had snuck into her property in the middle of the night and splashed a corrosive substance over her Range Rover, stripping off some of its pink paint.

Estate Agent Sale Details

Estate agents H.J Burt are handling the sale of the property, which now appears to be in need of some repairs. Photos show damage to its outside walls, marks in the kitchen from where cupboards have been pulled out, and an emptied, moss-ridden pool with a protective fence around it.

An online advert says the property has the potential to become an “impressive family house” for prospective buyers, but it does not mention the home’s famous former owner.

Court and Bankruptcy Issues

Katie was absent at a scheduled £760,000 bankruptcy court hearing on Tuesday, having flown overseas to Turkey to undergo facial surgery. An arrest warrant has since been issued due to her failure to attend court, with Katie admitting she’s “doing the best she can” to rectify her financial issues after receiving “very clear warnings” that she needed to attend court.

Final Thoughts

Despite her ongoing struggles, Katie insists she is trying her best to work her way out of her financial troubles. She continues to work on her mental health disorders for the sake of herself and her family, vowing to never hit rock bottom again.
