LIFE CHANGING Man Left Fighting for Life After Rush-Hour Crash in Lewisham

Shock in Rushey Green as a 54-year-old pedestrian was seriously hurt in a nasty collision with a van at around 7am on Saturday, October 18.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Police, London Ambulance Service, Fire Brigade, and even London’s Air Ambulance scrambled to the incident near Lewisham High Street. The injured man was rushed to hospital, initially unresponsive about his condition.

Police Update: Condition Life-Changing, No Arrests Yet

“At around 07:00hrs on Saturday, 18 October, police responded to a report of a road traffic collision between a van and a pedestrian in Lewisham High Street, SE13,” said a Metropolitan Police spokesperson.

“A 54-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. We await an update on his condition. There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.”
