Wiltshire Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a man sustained a serious head injury in an assault at Legends Sports Bar in Trowbridge in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 12.15am on 20 April, when the victim was reportedly struck over the head with a glass inside the popular venue.
After being attacked, the man left the bar and collapsed on Castle Street, near the junction with Market Street. Emergency services responded, and the victim was taken to hospital, where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said:
“We are appealing for witnesses following an assault that took place at the Legends Sports Bar, Trowbridge. A man suffered a serious head injury after being struck with a glass and later collapsed outside.”
Appeal for Information
Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any relevant information to come forward as they continue their investigation.

Ongoing Investigation
The motive behind the attack is currently unknown, and no arrests have been confirmed at this stage. Police are expected to review CCTV footage from the bar and surrounding area.
Anyone who may have captured mobile footage or noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time is also urged to come forward.
