Police Appeal After Teen Injured in Croydon Disturbance

Police are appealing for information following a disturbance in Croydon that left a boy aged under 16 injured.

At 7.31pm on Tuesday, 29 July, officers and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) responded to reports of a disturbance on Poplar Walk and at West Croydon Bus Station, Station Road.

A boy was found with cuts to his legs. Officers provided first aid at the scene before he was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries have since been confirmed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.

The Metropolitan Police has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. So far, no arrests have been made.

Appeal for Witnesses

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

“If you saw what happened or have any information that might assist our investigation, please get in touch,” a Met Police spokesperson said.

Officers continue to carry out enquiries in the area and are reviewing available CCTV footage.
