Police have launched an urgent appeal to locate 13-year-old Asad, who has been reported missing and is believed to be in the Southampton area.
Asad was last seen in Luton at around 10.20am on Friday, 18 April, and there has been no confirmed sighting of him since. Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare due to his age and the length of time he has now been missing.
He is described as 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, with dark black curly hair. When last seen, he was wearing a black jacket, black tracksuit bottoms, and white and blue trainers.
A police spokesperson said: “We are working urgently to trace Asad and are appealing to the public for any information, no matter how small. We believe he may have travelled to the Southampton area, and we ask people in and around the city to keep an eye out.”
Anyone who has seen Asad or may know of his whereabouts is urged to call 999 immediately, quoting reference 44250171145.
Officers continue to liaise with Asad’s family and are pursuing all available lines of enquiry.
