THUG Polish Violent Offender Dodges Deportation, Rakes in Thousands as Bare-Knuckle Boxer

A brutal Polish criminal wanted for serious charges back home is still roaming free in the UK—and earning a cool £7,000 a fight as a bare-knuckle boxer while fighting extradition.

Dawid Ostafi, 35, nicknamed “The Wrecking Machine,” faces robbery charges in Poland but remains in Britain. A judge even eased his bail so he can compete in the savage Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship as he battles legal attempts to send him back.

From Crime Spree to Cage Fights

  • Ostafi arrived in the UK in 2016—the same year Poland jailed him for 30 months.
  • In 2019, this 6ft 1in bruiser headbutted a female police officer and assaulted a male colleague while drunk-driving.
  • Officers found a metal baseball bat, pepper spray, and cocaine in the stolen £48,000 Audi he was driving.
  • He previously punched a garage worker 20 times, knocking out three teeth, earning him a 40-month jail sentence in the UK.

Home Office Blunder Lets Thug Stay

Despite his violent record and automatic deportation eligibility under the UK Borders Act, Ostafi slipped through the cracks and stayed in Britain after release.

It wasn’t until August last year, after Polish authorities pushed for his extradition, that he was arrested at a boxing gym.

He’s currently on £40,000 bail, tagged and under curfew—except on brutal fight nights when he’s free to compete.

Legal Loopholes Keep Violent Fighter in UK

Ostafi’s lawyers claim his right to family life under the European Convention on Human Rights stops deportation. He has a wife and son in the UK, plus two stepchildren.

“This claim to family life is being used to fight extradition despite his serious criminal record,” sources say.

Though the High Court blocked his appeal, he can still pursue further legal challenges, dragging out his stay—and his lucrative bare-knuckle career.

Public Safety Concerns & Rising Questions

Ostafi’s violent attacks on police and civilians show he’s a clear danger. Yet, he’s allowed out to fight for thousands while dodging justice abroad.

This case highlights major flaws in the Home Office’s deportation enforcement. How did a convicted thug stay here, earning big and risking public safety?

As the bare-knuckle sport surges in popularity, Ostafi’s brutal in-ring persona suits his violent past—but his freedom raises alarm bells.

Will Britain’s legal system protect the public, or will criminals like Ostafi keep cashing in and dodging justice?
