Ryan Brook’s teddy bear heist

Ryan Brook, 36, didn’t just stop at one crime. On September 22, he swiped two teddy bears and a bag for life from the Hospice in the Weald charity shop in Sevenoaks.

Beer and steak burglary

On the very same day, Brook hit Marks & Spencer in Sevenoaks again – nicking £124 worth of beer and steak from the shelves.

Serial offender locked up

The Bexleyheath resident, of Cumbrian Avenue, admitted theft, shoplifting, and breaching a criminal behaviour order. At Bexley Magistrates’ Court on October 15, he was sentenced to 24 weeks behind bars.

Brook is no stranger to trouble. He’s a prolific thief with a string of prison stints for shoplifting in recent years.
