Police Praise Victims’ Courage
Detective Inspector Ben Beck, Kirklees District Safeguarding Unit, said: “Stalking is an awful and insidious offence that can ruin victims’ lives. We welcome Hunter’s sentencing for relentless harassment and physical assault.
“His use of tracking technology highlights the depths of his obsession and need for control. The victims have shown immense courage in coming forward and helping secure justice.
“Their bravery has led to the conviction of a dangerous man capable of violence, proven by both this case and a separate assault conviction in Holmfirth.”
“We urge victims of stalking and abuse to report incidents. We promise every case will be fully investigated.”
