MURDER PROBE Teenager Dies After Daylight Stabbing on Lavender Hill

A murder probe has been launched after a teen died following a brutal stabbing in Wandsworth earlier this week.

Tragic Attack on Lavender Hill

On Tuesday, 21 October at 3:26pm, police and paramedics rushed to Lavender Hill after reports of a stabbing. 19-year-old Rinneau Perrineau—known as Ren—was found with stab wounds and rushed to hospital.

Despite medics’ best efforts, Ren’s condition worsened and he sadly passed away on Friday, 24 October. His devastated family are being supported by specialist officers.

“Ren was loved by many, he was always around his family. He will be dearly missed,” said the family.

Police Make Arrest as Investigation Moves Fast

One arrest has already been made, with detectives working quickly to track down anyone else involved. Authorities believe this was an isolated incident, but are keen to hear from any witnesses.

Acting Borough Commander Amanda Mawhinney said, “This was a shocking crime committed in broad daylight. A teenager’s life was taken, and his family and friends have suffered a terrible loss.”

Call for Witnesses

Police urge anyone who was near Beauchamp Road between 3:20pm and 3:30pm on Tuesday to come forward. Witnesses can call 101 quoting crime reference 4781/21OCT, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Residents may notice increased police patrols in the area as officers hunt those responsible.
