In a heartbreaking turn of events, police have confirmed the recovery of a 57-year-old woman’s body from the Water of Lee in Angus, Scotland.

Officers were swiftly called to the scene at Glen Esk, responding to the distressing call at approximately 13:45. Despite their best efforts, it wasn’t until 16:00 that the woman’s body was located in the river.

Authorities have assured the public that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
