TWO DEAD Tragic Smash Claims Two Lives on Country Road

A devastating multi-vehicle crash on Fambridge Road, Essex, has left two people dead. Emergency services rushed to the scene following the horror collision involving four vehicles on October 1.

Joanna Hills, 36, Remembered as ‘Kind and Generous Soul’

The female victim has been named as Joanna Hills, 36, of Hullbridge. Alongside a man in his 70s, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Her devastated family have paid tribute, saying:

“Joanna is a much-loved daughter, granddaughter, mother, partner, sister and friend. She was a kind and generous soul who would do anything for anyone, regardless of the situation. She will be truly missed and never replaced. We ask that we, Joanna’s family and friends, are given space to grieve and process during this difficult time.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Essex Police continue to investigate the crash and are urging anyone with information to come forward. In particular, they seek the occupants of a blue Mini with a white or light-coloured roof and white wing mirrors believed to have been near the scene at the time.

Police statement:

“Detectives are now appealing for the occupants of a blue Mini, with a white/light coloured roof and white wing mirrors, to come forward. They could have vital information to help with our inquiries.”

This tragic crash has shocked the community, with family and friends mourning the loss of a “generous soul” and a beloved member of their lives.
