Triple Murder Suspect Charged in Hunt Family Killings

A 26-year-old man from Enfield has been charged with three counts of murder in connection with the deaths of racing commentator John Hunt’s wife and two daughters.

Kyle Clifford is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today, according to Bedfordshire Police.

The charges stem from the tragic incident that occurred on July 9 in Bushey, Hertfordshire, where Carol Hunt, 61, and her daughters Louise and Hannah were found seriously injured at their home on Ashlyn Close. Despite the efforts of paramedics, all three women succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

In addition to the murder charges, Clifford faces accusations of false imprisonment and two counts of possession of offensive weapons.

The incident unfolded when police were called to the Hunt residence responding to a neighbour’s report of concern. Following the discovery of the victims, an extensive manhunt ensued, involving armed officers, helicopters, and other police resources.

This devastating event has rocked the local community, and authorities are urging anyone with further information to come forward as the investigation continues.

Clifford remains in custody and will face further legal proceedings in the coming days.
