Cyclist fighting for his life after crash in Whitwell
Emergency services on the Isle of Wight are currently dealing with an incident on the outskirts of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight involving a cyclist who has falling from his bike. Police have closed the road near to the Pillars on main road into Whitwell Village. Bystanders who are understood to have have witnessed the incident have stated that Paramedics from the Isle of Wight ambulance service are carrying out cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the man. Buses services into the village are understood to be effected. The incident happened just after 10am.
