Kent Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision in Ashford that claimed the life of a young motorcyclist.

The incident occurred at around 9:45pm on Tuesday (13 August) in Bad Munstereifel Road, near Orbital Park. Police say a blue Kawasaki motorcycle struck a kerb, causing the rider to fall. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.

Emergency services, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene. Despite efforts to save him, the 22-year-old rider was pronounced dead. His family has been informed.

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is leading enquiries and has urged motorists who were in the area at the time to review any dashcam footage.
