Man Found Dead with Serious Head Injuries in Wembley Park
Tragic Discovery at Brent River Park
Police rushed to Brent River Park, Wembley at 7.05pm on Sunday, 8 July, after London Ambulance Service reported a man found unresponsive. Officers and paramedics found the man suffering from serious head injuries. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Ongoing Investigation and Crime Scene
A post-mortem is planned, with formal identification still pending. A crime scene remains in place as police in Brent continue their investigation. The Homicide and Major Crime Command has been alerted and enquiries into the full circumstances are ongoing.
Police Hunt for Culprit
Inspector Sammi Elsituri said: “This will alarm and shock the local community, especially after a fatal shooting in Wembley just days ago. Our officers are fully engaged, knocking on doors and reviewing CCTV to piece together what happened.”
“Specialist teams are on the ground to solve this crime and reassure the public. Officers are available to talk to locals about any concerns.
“We will work relentlessly—day and night—to catch those responsible and remove weapons from our streets to keep everyone safe.”
