Serious Collision Unit Appeals for Information Following Motorcycle Collision – UKNIP

The Greater Manchester Police’s (GMP) Serious Collision Unit is urging the public to come forward with any information related to a collision that occurred on the Loop in Salford. The incident, which took place at approximately 14.05 yesterday, involved a motorcycle colliding with a tree.

Upon receiving reports of the accident, officers and emergency responders from the North West Ambulance Service swiftly arrived at the scene. The injured motorcyclist, identified as a 24-year-old man, was promptly transported to a nearby hospital. Sadly, his condition remains critical, with the injuries sustained believed to be life-threatening.

In an effort to gather additional details surrounding the incident, the GMP is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or possesses relevant footage. This includes individuals with dashcam recordings, CCTV footage, or doorbell cameras that could aid the investigation.
