Three people, including a one-year-old child, have been rushed to hospital following a violent dog attack in Denton, Greater Manchester.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed officers were called to Baslow Road at approximately 5:50pm on Thursday, 29 May, following reports that several people had been attacked by a dog.
“Three people, a one-year-old child and two adults, are in hospital being treated for their injuries,” a GMP spokesperson said.
The exact nature and severity of the injuries have not been disclosed, and the condition of the victims remains unknown at this time.
Emergency Response and Ongoing Investigation
Emergency services, including paramedics and police units, responded rapidly to the incident, which is believed to have taken place in a residential area. The victims were treated at the scene before being transported to hospital.
Details surrounding the dog involved — including its breed, owner, or whether it has been seized — have not yet been released by GMP.
An investigation has now been launched to determine the circumstances of the attack, and officers remain at the scene as part of their inquiries.
